About the lounge

Our flagship lounge at Ben Gurion Airport earned its reputation as a meeting place for business associates and as a unique venue for conducting business.

With an innovative design tailored to meet all your needs, meticulous planning down to the most minute details, and, of course, personal and courteous service, the King David Lounge provides its guests with an ideal, deluxe, and enjoyable hospitality experience. The lounge offers business travelers a modern, comfortable, and well-equipped business center with a variety of services, including computer connections and high-speed wireless internet services, fax and telephone services for local calls, and comfortable seating areas ranging from a sumptuous home-style living room to spacious desks on the gallery floor.

What could be better than relaxing comfortably on the sofa and treating yourself to a delicious meal and soft drink? Our staff will make sure you enjoy friendly, courteous service and will be happy to assist with any of your flight arrangements.
The Kind David lounge operates around the clock (except on holidays and on Shabbat [Friday evening to Saturday night]) and offers a rich and varied assortment of food and beverages day and night, including:

  • Soups
  • Pasta dishes
  • Salads and a variety of spreads
  • Fresh fruit
  • Pastries, cookies, and a bakery station offering hot pizza and focaccia breads.
  • An assortment of soft drinks and warm beverages
  • Wine and spirits menu

 

How do you get there?

The lounge is located in Terminal 3 at Ben Gurion Airport, in the Departures Hall, branch D.



Who has access to the lounge?

  • EL AL business class passengers (except those who upgraded to business class at the check-in counters for a fee or through the EL AL Upgrade service, with an upgrade request submitted after September 15, 2024) are entitled to bring one guest with them, as long as the guest is also traveling on the same flight (not including babies up to two years of age).
  • Top Platinum, Platinum, and Gold Matmid Frequent Flyer Club members.

Important information

  • Access to the lounge is subject to the presentation of a boarding pass/flight documents.
  • The lounge is open to passengers roughly three hours prior to their flight.
  • The lounge is only open during hours when there are EL AL flights departing. On Saturday evening, the lounge opens one hour after Shabbat ends.
  • Top tier members (with Platinum or Top Platinum Status) who are flying on another airline may only access our lounge when it is open, which is based strictly on the operating hours of EL AL flights.
  • Due to the Kosher nature of the lounge, outside food and beverages are not permitted.
